Audio from the Sabbath School class of 13 May 2012 is available here.
In this part of our study of the history of the Reformation we discuss the efforts of Charles V to call a general council to accommodate the Protestants and restore unity to the ecclesiastical realm, the opposition to the formation of that council, its eventual calling in the city of Trent, and the involvement of the Jesuits in that Council. We also discuss the Lutheran reformation as it persisted in Denmark and Sweden. Finally, we introduce the subject of the Reformation in Switzerland.
