Memorisation Programme
The Session, in an effort to promote Christian education here at BHPC during the Summer Sabbath School break, will be encouraging heads of households to work with their families in a memorisation programme. It is our desire to see families know the Scriptures and confess our most holy Faith. To that end we are coordinating a programme of memorising Scripture and catechism. Everyone is encouraged to participate! Memorise portions or the whole book of Galatians as Pastor Roop is preaching through this epistle, or focus afresh on progress in memorising the Shorter Catechism.
Heads of households should coordinate with the Elders to record the goals of the members of their families. Between lunch and the afternoon worship service the Elders will hear and record the progress of those wishing to participate. Those who achieve their approved goals by the end of August will receive some encouraging rewards.
