No Public Worship Services 26 December 2010

Due to snow and ice creating hazardous travel conditions for many of our church family (and causing a sheet of ice on our own church parking lot!), there will be no public services at Brainerd Hills Presbyterian Church this Lord’s Day, 26 December 2010.

Even though we are unable to meet in corporate worship, lovingly remember to keep this Sabbath Day holy to the Lord in every way the whole day, filling the whole time with private and family acts of devotion and worship.

“This Sabbath is then kept holy unto the Lord, when men, after a due preparing of their hearts, and ordering of their common affairs beforehand, do not only observe an holy rest, all the day, from their own works, words, and thoughts about their worldly employments and recreations,1 but also are taken up, the whole time, in the public and private exercises of his worship, and in the duties of necessity and mercy.2” (WCF 21.8)
