We continue our examination of the terms psalm, hymn, and song as we find those terms used in the New Testament. We review our findings with regard to psalm and hymn and turn our attention to the term song. We continue to find that if a clear and indisputable authorship and authority may be discerned for the song as it is found in Scripture, the song is inspired and appointed under Divine authority.
