In this class we discuss the ecclesiastical situation of the Reformed Church in the Netherlands at the time of the Reformation. We briefly considered the author of the Belgic Confession, Guido de Brès, and discussed the strength of the Dutch Reformed theologians in drafting the Canons of Dort in response to the five points of the Arminian Remonstrants. Finally we begin our discussion of the Scottish Reformation.
