In this class we discuss a little about the upbringing of William the Silent (Prince of Orange), and the rise of oppression in the Netherlands under Philip II of Spain. We also introduced the Beggars movement (French: Les Gueux; Dutch: Geuzen) and the Sea Beggars (French: Gueux de mer; Dutch: Watergeuzen).
