In this class we continue our discussion of biblical principles of Christian civil ethics, particularly in relation to the love and care the civil magistrate ought to show toward his people within the bounds of his God-given authority and station. We also turn our attention to the revisions made to the Westminster Standards by the 1788 Synod of the Presbyterian church in America in relation to the confessed duties of the civil magistrate.
